Beautiful Spring and WOYWW #148

WOYWW #148

I made this tag for the tag making group over at Tag Tuesday, and it's still on my workdesk.  Silhouettes seem to be a popular trend recently, and I was inpired by some cards that I saw online to use this silhouette image of a little girl dancing happily through the grass with her flower bouquet and Easter egg basket.  The sentiment "Nothing is so beautiful as Spring" is written in such lovely font, I thought it was perfect with this happy little girl.

I used this same stamp to make some card fronts, ready to mount onto some Easter cards, you can see them all ready to go, along with a clean and simple card design I was trying out in the back.    There is also a cut out of little girl with wings, not sure what I am going to do with her, she seems to be sitting, so I don't know what to put her on.  I'd love to hear your suggestions!

If you are wondering why I am showing you my workdesk, it's because it's Wednesday, and Julia over at Stamping Ground invites everyone to show their workspace.  It's fun!

I'm posting my tag in a few new spots, Artful Times Challenge- Make a Tag
Artistic Stamper-use ribbons and lace and Mojo Monthly at La-De-Dah   I love seeing all the creations in response to these fun challenges.

Thanks for stopping by!

  5. oh my goodness, that tag is gorgeous, I love the little butterfly wings lifted up, it's beautiful!! As for the little girl with wings, why not put her on a mushroom? or if it's an easter card, why not an egg? #44, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina and wishing you a Happy Easter :)

  9. Your tag is lovely, so are your other cards. As for the girl with wings I think she would look lovely on a mushroom (toadstool) or a countryside/ garden gate

  12. Hi Barb,
This tag is beautiful! She'll make great Easter cards too. There is something really cool and old fashioned about silhouettes. About the girl sitting - she's adorable. Maybe an old fashioned bike? or a mushroom?

I'm not participating this week but wanted to stop by and see what you've been doing.

    Hugs,
    Kay
