I love the combination of pink and black, and thought that this stamp with the sentiment designed right in would be pretty with pink flowers on a black card background. This was a quickie to make, and I was thinking I could stamp other sentiments on plain cardstock and put different words over "adore" to get more use out of it. I am entering this in the CAS-ual Friday challenge, using a pastel and black, the CPS # 258 sketch, and also the Flower Challenge at Lily Pad Cards.
Here's my workspace, looks like a big mess, I didn't get a chance to tidy up, and didn't want to miss being part of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, so you are seeing it in a very disorganized state. That is my makeshift photo set up (a cardboard box and 2 sheets of colored paper) that I use to take pictures of my cards for my blog. Just finished taking a photo of the card at the beginning of the post. Luckily I have great light coming in the window, so I don't have to use my Ott light that often. To see some other fun desks, stop over at Julia's Stamping Ground.
Thanks for stopping by. I so appreciate your comments!
What a great idea as. Makeshift studio for the cards! Might steal this idea!

ReplyDeleteI need to get me one of those frogs for cards, I love the way it looks! waving hi from my balcony in the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeletePink and black are such a great combination and I like what you've done with them here. Your desk might be in disarray to you, but it is looking pretty good from my standpoint. You have enough free space to set up your makeshift photo studio.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely card for the CAS-ual Friday challenge. Love pinks with black. Thanks for the peek via WOYWW. #158
ReplyDeleteHi Barb,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words. I am feeling so much love and understanding. My other dog, Katie, has been really smelling around the house this evening. I put Daisy's collar on the bookshelf and she got as close to it that she could. Bless her heart.
Your card looks so nice. I agree, pink and black is a great color combination. It really helps the pink pop.
Oh, and your desk isn't messy at all -- you saw mine! Now that's messy!!
Hugs,
Kay
Wonderful design and I love the striking background :) Thanks for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, pink and black is a fab colour combination but you don't see it that often in cardmaking!! So, it makes that card of yours stand out. It's really simple and elegant, so often the best!!
