You had a peek at this card on my table last week, and I finished it off today. It has a sweet sentiment from Unity Stamps, and to stay with the sewing theme, I loaded it with buttons. I'm entering this in several challenges, which I have listed at the end of the post. I also made another version with a spool instead of the hearts.
I finished off a bunch of cards in the last few days, I feel very satisifed when I have a big pile of completely done cards in front of me.
Those manila folders on the right are mini sized ones, about half the size of regular folders, and in my never ending quest to try to get more organized, I am using them to store stamped images that need to be colored in, mounted on cards, etc. I bought a whole box of folders for $1.00 at my favorite bargain store. We'll see how that works!
Stop by Julia's Stamping Ground to see more creative spaces, because it is Wednesday, and we're showing them off.

Well done on making a batch of cards, wish I could do that but I'm not disciplined enough and go for the 'make-it-at-the-last-minute approach.

ReplyDeleteI'm full of admiration - if I pre-stamp, they get ignored..I just can't get excited about 'stock'- and it would be sooo useful!!
ReplyDeletePretty cards gal, love the bird hearts, really nice.
What a sweet sewing card. I love how you added fibers to the spool die cut. I love all the different sized and colored buttons too. I just love that look but I get palpitations if I try to do it. I seem to wants buttons the same size or shade of color or... I just can let go of that bit of OCD. Yippeee! to you for having a stack of completed cards. I'm a tad jealous having many I need to do but little time.
ReplyDeletesuper button card, have fun with your organisation :)

ReplyDeleteHi Barb, me again, thanks for your comment on my blog. Dylusions inks are now sold by Ranger, so any stockist of Ranger should either sell them or get them in soon, they are quite a new range. Dyan Reaveley is now a Senior Educator with Ranger . She has a UK shop called Art From The Heart in Harrogate. Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful selection of cards on your desk, and those little hearts look cute too.
