Watercolor Stamping

This one layer Thank You card is another one created with inspiration from the Watercolors for Card Maker class I am taking online (see previous post for more info).  I have tried so many new techniques, and revisited some I had used before.  This card was created using distress ink and lot of misting.  I love all the depth the flower has from all the layering.  The flowers  are from a Stampin' Up set called "Too Kind", and the sentiment is from the "So Very Grateful" set.

I am adding this to the 1 Layer Thank You challenge at Less is More, and linking up to the Online Card Class gallery.

Have you tried this technique?  Let me know how it worked for you!

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Good to see you back, Barb! Your homework is sensational! I can see that you have real talent for watercoloring!! Aren't the classes wonderful? I'm getting more and more behind, but I know I'll get back in there because I don't want to miss any tricks! Enjoy! Hugs, Darnell

  6. Beautiful and striking card and to be honest I thought you'd painted this freehand as there's no obvious stamp lines. Great OLC card and thanks for taking part.
