Love You More

It seems like I've had my Valentine stamps out since New Years!  I sell quite a few Valentines cards at local shops, so I came up several different designs that I could easily duplicate.  I'm enjoying creating one layer cards, and made this for the Less is More One Layer Challenge.  After I stamped the heart, I made a mask in the shape of the heart and the tiny flower.  I masked off the card and the flower and sponged the heart shape with distress inks.  When I was finished, I unmasked the flower and colored it in with a marker.  I am also entering in this week's challenge over at CAS(E) this Sketch-

We received about a foot of snow today, and our new dog, Rio, loves to romp in it.  Even though he is a Southern boy, he's adapted well to the frigid temps here.
Thanks for stopping by, and if you leave a comment, I'll be sure to visit you back!

  4. What a clever idea - to incorporate the little spray of flowers in your heart! So pretty! Thank you for your kind comments on my card for this challenge, and yes, the card did come already embossed in the central rectangle. It is called a 'white platemarked deckle-edged folder 127 x 171mm' here in Australia, available from a company called Hoskings. They cost around $54 for 50, so not really economical. I bought mine 20 years ago (can you believe that??) when I bought my first stamp, which was used twice and left for the next 20 years. Now that I'm retired, I have time to enjoy it and the hundreds that I have added to it! hugs, Ann
