Make Lemonade!

Wow, we've been in the middle of a heat wave, and it has been intense!   I think I need an icy lemonade to cool down with.
This is a Lawn Fawn set, and I paper pieced the glass and pitcher.  Fun!

It's going in these challenges:
Lawnscaping Paper Piecing, Casology Cue Card- Cool, and Runway Inspired with this photo of a Stella McCartney dress.
I broke down this week and went out on a mission to buy an air conditioner for my craft room, because it was impossible to work in there.  When we arrived at Home Depot we had a hard time finding one, and finally came across a small pile of 4 air conditioners near a register.  Apparently there had been a huge pile of them there in the morning, and by noon they were almost cleaned out.  So glad I got one, what a difference it makes!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you are staying cool!

  5. I'm so delighted for you, Barb, that you now have an air conditioner in your room! I have a room a/c in the Playhouse; it would be unbearable at times w/o it, which means I not only would get cranky from the heat, I'd get cranky from not being able to make cards!! Your sweet lemonade card is a fantastic take on the challenges!!
