A Swap and WOYWW

Here's a little sneak peek at some ornaments I am making for a Christmas ornament swap.
I used Red Lead's old fashioned ornament shape and a fun vintage image and stamps.  I remember as a kid flying down a hill like this on my wooden sled while  I steered with my feet.  These need to be mailed off by next week, so that's why they are on my workdesk today.  This project brought back happy memories for me,  I am always so amazed at the power of art to invoke feelings!  I'll post the finished project after I send these off.

If you want to see more crafty spaces, check in with Julia over at The Stamping Ground.
Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave a comment if you have a chance, I'd love to visit your space, too.

  3. They look fab...I remember sledding and tobogganing too.
When the girls were small, we lived in the Okanagan...BC's hot, dry, semi arid area...all our grapes and soft fruits are grown there. It get quite cold in the winter and lots of snow.

Boy how they loved to sled and tobaggon too. I think every child should have a chance to experience that freedom of flying down a hill.

  4. Beautiful Barb. I love the vintage look of your baubles. I remember snowy days when there was enough snow to use snow skates - now all we seem to get is slush! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 16
